Market Outlook

Vietnamese skilled workers have long been present in established labor destination markets such as Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. These markets continue to play an important role in shaping technical discipline, industrial working standards, and international deployment experience for Vietnamese labor.

Alongside these traditional markets, Vietnam is progressively expanding its participation in new industrial labor destinations, particularly across Europe and other developed regions.

Rather than being defined by geography, these emerging markets are characterized by structural labor shortages in key sectors including shipbuilding, construction, manufacturing, and energy. This shift reflects a broader transition toward demand-driven workforce mobility, where deployment is determined by project requirements rather than fixed destination models.

Europe, in particular, represents a growing industrial labor market with diverse demand across multiple countries and production hubs. At the same time, other developed economies continue to create additional opportunities for skilled workforce deployment based on sector-specific needs.

Within this evolving landscape, Vietnamese skilled workers are increasingly recognized for their adaptability, practical technical capability, and ability to integrate into international working environments. This enables them to participate not only in traditional markets, but also in new and expanding industrial labor ecosystems.

As a result, Vietnam’s workforce is gradually positioned within a broader global supply chain of skilled labor, moving from country-based deployment toward industry-driven and project-based mobility.
